The Poncho coin
$PONCHO
$PONCHO does two things, and both are written into one contract, PonchoStaking. A provider that stakes it pays a lower protocol fee. Everyone who stakes it takes a share of the fees the protocol collects, paid in USDG.
$PONCHO trades on ponsfamily.com. Until the owner sets it on PonchoStaking, staking is closed, every provider pays the full fee, and nothing on this page can be staked.

One
A lower fee for providers
Every time a provider's note settles, the vault asks PonchoStaking what discount that provider's stake earns, and takes it off the protocol fee. The more $PONCHO a provider stakes, the higher its tier. No tier can take more than half the fee off, and no answer from the contract can raise it.
The table is read from tiers() on the contract. The owner can change the thresholds and discounts, within those bounds, and this table always shows what they are now.
The tiers are read from PonchoStaking once the Poncho contracts are on Robinhood Chain. Nothing is shown before then, so nothing here can be out of date.
Stake, unstake, claim
Your stake earns its share of the fees from the block it lands in. It counts towards your fee tier once it has warmed up on the contract. Unstaking and claiming never pause.
$PONCHO is live on ponsfamily.com. Staking opens when the owner sets the token on PonchoStaking, which can happen only once. Until then the controls below are inert: nothing here sends a transaction.

What $PONCHO does not do
It is not needed to use Poncho.
Agents pay in USDG and providers are paid in USDG. Nobody has to hold $PONCHO to buy or sell a single call.
It promises no return.
The fee share is the protocol fee and nothing else. It moves with how much agents actually spend, and it can be zero.
It governs nothing.
Staking gives no vote. The owner sets the fee, the tiers and the pause, within the ceilings in the contract code.
Its price is not ours to set.
